OUR STORY
In Deference to the Desert
We believe the best hospitality gets out of the way. That distance from distraction is the rarest luxury. We believe the best thing we can offer isn't just another amenity. It's room to think.
That drove us to build RESET on 180 acres of high desert in Joshua Tree, because we knew the land could do something we couldn't. Strip away the noise. Offer stillness when everything else offers stimulation. Create space when the world keeps filling it. Space to grow. To explore. To continuously evolve and reiterate with time.
Joshua Tree has long been a pilgrimage site. Profound and otherworldly, humbling in its scale. People come here to stand in the middle of something vast and let it recalibrate them. So we built in deference to what already existed. Clean lines. Quiet materials. Buildings spaced to preserve openness. From a distance, they almost disappear. Up close, the details tell a story.
We never set out to build a monument, just a vantage point. RESET provides a setting. Physical, mental, and temporal. Room to move. Room to wander. Room to sit still. What you make of it is entirely up to you.
